General

The organizers will not accept responsibility for any money lost or stolen or for any damage, loss or theft of any participants’ personal belongings.

Although we strive to maintain originally planned activities and schedules, each program is subject to change due to weather and/or other special circumstances.

It is the responsibility of the participant to inform the organizers if there are any changes in their medical condition after this form has been submitted.

If the participant has a presently life-threatening allergy or food sensitivity, we ask that the participant contact Yoga Camp at info@yogacamp.com prior to completing and submitting this form.
Cancellation
-
Registrations can be transferred to another person without penalty with a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Transfers with less than two weeks notice are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

Registration cancellations must be received in writing (via email) 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the event. A refund will be issued less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to the camp will not receive a refund.

If for any reason the event is cancelled, registrants will receive a full refund. If for any reason an event date is changed, registrations for the original date will be honoured. In this case, refunds will be issued for cancellations without penalty, and transfers will be accepted without an administrative fee.

Health History

It is never advisable to practice Yoga or partake in any other form of physical activity while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. While our retreat is not a dry environment, we expect you to drink responsibly and be respectful of others who are not engaging in drinking alcohol or smoking marijuana.

Please consult your doctor if you have any of the following conditions prior to attending the retreat: asthma, heart problems, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, pregnancy, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck injury, back pain or injury, knee injury, diabetes, and insomnia, osteoporosis, sciatica, and depression/anxiety.
Personal Declaration

I understand that I am participating in yoga and movement classes or workshops during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga, movement and health. I recognize that yoga and other movement practices require physical exertion which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in yoga and movement classes or workshops. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation in yoga and movement classes or workshops.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in yoga classes or Workshops, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages known or unknown which might incur as a result of participating in the program.

In further consideration of being permitted to participate in yoga and movement classes or workshops, I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim I may have against the organizers, for injury or damages that I sustain as a result of participating in the program.

I, my heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the organizers for any injury or death caused by negligence or other acts.
This personal and health history is correct so far as I know; I am in good health and feel confident in my ability to participate in the activities. I am solely responsible for my health and safety, and will not hold retreat organizers or staff responsible for any loss, injuries, or illness that may occur. I will do my best to consider the interests of the group, but I also know that I may participate in as many or few of the activities as I like.
